I have been taking photographs for over 20 years, mostly recently in Hong Kong . Due to the current situation the world finds itself in, people are eager to bridge the gap that distance is causing and family photography has become increasingly popular.

When doing a personal branding photo shoot, or a series for a fashion publication - most of the images are planned but occasionally the creative side comes out for an 'in the moment' shot.

I'm noticing so much that with family portrait sessions, so many of the pictures selected as favourites are almost always the unplanned and 'in the moment' photos. These are often the ones that express absolute joy and genuine expressions. As a photographer, they are also the most fun to capture as they feel authentic, capturing the family dynamic and telling their story.
